Targeting Shape and Material in Lighting Design

Product lighting design is a laborious and time-consuming task. With product illustrations being increasingly rendered, the challenge transferred to virtual realm. Our approach targets in context of scene with fixed objects, materials, camera parameters, illuminated by environmental lighting. solution offers control over depiction material characteristics shape details optimizing illuminating environment-map. To that end, we introduce metric assesses cues terms designed appearance. We formalize process support steering outcome using additional constraints. illustrate our several challenging examples.
